Woman Spends Over $2,100 for Best Friend's Bachelorette Party and Wedding, Bride Still Complains She 'Didn't Get Enough Gifts'

Even though weddings are supposed to be all about love, it's also a sticky trap for drama. Even when it is the best group of people and the chillest crowd, something always happens. In this case, it was a bride getting greedy. Bridezillas being greedy doesn't sound like a big shock, but when the bride is your best friend, it feels jarring. Weddings can bring that part out of anybody! In this case, the bride turned into a spoiled brat even after everything her bestie did for her, even spending over $2,100! The bestie did her best to throw her the best bachelorette party and to make sure her wedding was the best. She booked a "dope" hotel and made sure her wedding was perfect—that doesn't come cheap! Now, after the wedding happened and went beautifully, thanks to the bestie, she is upset that she didn't get enough gifts and is now asking for a "honeymoon" present… Like, huh?? Here I was, paying for us to be in a hotel for four days, paying for every event we went to, drinks, food, etc, and all I heard was "no one thought to get her a gift" ....what? Bachelorette party over, wedding happens, they go on their honeymoon and I fly back home. I thought that was the end of that. I'd let the friendship go after that because she's self- centered and selfish. And it is extremely ride, crass and low class to ask someone for a present. No one is required to give a present, people do it from their hearts but to ask somebody else or demand someone else give you a present is just insanity.

    The_ADD_PM I have been a bridesmaid 7 times and got married in 2023. I have never heard of a honeymoon present. Expenses for the bachlorette usually are split up and would have made it easier on you. I also don't expect much in terms of gifts from bridesmaids because they pay so much to be in the wedding and attend the bachlorette as it is. Her wedding

I'm getting married and would seriously be embarrassed to even ask my friends to pay for a bachelorette party since they're all flying in.
